Baysport Bow cushions

im putting in my order for my BS 22 soon, have a question regarding bow cushion package.

Does this cushion package require snaps? Are they installed whether or not you buy cushions?

This is in the wrong section. But to answer your question I really doubt it. It takes time to measure and install them in place. At lest for 180s and 197s I have seen without the bow cushions they did not have the snaps.

They are not required, but highly recommended so the cushions don't blow overboard. To my knowledge, the snaps are installed only when the cushion package is ordered, as they have to be mounted to match exactly with the snap buttons on the cushions. I have the cushion set on my Bay Sport 220, and use them quite a bit.

That's correct. I do not have the bow cushion package and no snaps were installed on the bow of my 197.
