Won at a fishing contest!

PostSun Apr 27, 2014 10:18 pm

No money but a first to me :D I participated at an outing to Ft Pierce from our West Palm Beach fishing club. Luckily for me most were small boats like mine. I think everybody went fishing inshore (good there) but I went out to the reefs which are about 8 miles out offshore in that area. First day was nice like a lake. Second day was rough 2-3' with white caps. Caught spanish mackarel, sea bass, 4 lane snappers (16" biggest) and a very rare that far 19" flounder. Somehow that got me on top of two categories. Was a blast. Love this little boat :-)
