Productive day last Saturday :-)

Went out of Boynton and seas were nice flat. Got plenty of yellow tail for dinner. The curious octopus ate a live bait at the bottom. Then when out it "glued" to the boat and crawled down and spit the bait out. Dinner was not worth his life. Very intelligent creature :o

Sweet looking dinner there & yes I believe octopus are smart. I get a few in my stone crab traps. They enter to eat the crabs. DO NOT let them ink on your boat. Really tough to remove.

Didn't think about the ink. Initially I was trying to get him on the boat. But he got stuck at the end to the outside of the transom like with super glue  Then he let go the bait. Now I know for next time to leave it outside. Was just going to use it for bait. :D
