Friday fishing 8-23-13

PostMon Aug 26, 2013 12:40 pm

Headed out early Friday morning with about 150 live shrimp in search of trout and reds. We fish Charleston Harbor hard but the fish were not cooperating. It could have been me, but I'm blaming the full moon. Anyway, we did put 15 trout in the boat with 5 keepers and 5 redfish with 1 keeper. Although, one red was 32" pulled from Crab Bank. We could see Sheepshead swimming at the jetties, but we couldn't get them to eat.

We were using shrimp under corks, on the bottom and a finger mullet or 2 on the bottom. Although, one red was 32" pulled from Crab Bank.

It was better than sitting at the desk...

Nice going & thanks for sharing. I waded a spot in the Indian River just after daybreak. Had a trout, couple of jack & this guy. Okay, how do I post pics? It is a decent pic of a red caught on the fly. Again I did enjoy your pics.
