Lake Pontchartrain

PostTue Jun 15, 2010 9:18 pm

Took the 197 fishing today. Was able to find some specs and white trout, ended up with 16 and a bunch of throwbacks. Tried to get to the weigh master to weigh the fish for the tournament, but it was to late. Had some of the craziest weather conditions. The air had so much static electricity, when you would touch your rod it would shock you. And I'm not talking about getting out of the car in the winter, close the door, and get a shock. More like getting hit by a taser. Also, when you would cast your line it would float in the air between you and the cork. If you were to let the line out, it would go straight up. Weird!!!
