Slow re-fueling fix

PostSat Aug 13, 2016 3:55 pm

Hi guys. Just bought an 08 197 sportfish that only has 75 hours on the F150 and has been used almost exclusively in freshwater(that's getting ready to change). Only problem was when I went to gas it up it just would not take it. It literally took me 30 minutes to put in 20 gallons. The good news is I have solved the problem by placing an 18 inch funnel I got at tractor supply in the fuel hole first.I'm guessing there was a kink that was preventing fuel from passing through. Anyway, just wanted to share that in case anyone else had an issue. Thanks.

I had the same problem on my 2008 220. Had to replace the fuel line to the fuel tank. When removed the line was collapsed and worn.

Can you tell me what it cost you to have your fuel line replaced? I've heard that Pioneer is helpful with issues like that. Thanks.
