well, after 7 years, i decided to get a new handrail made that i can actually use without bending over. took a while to find a stainless fabricator. i like it.

now if i can figure how to mount some LED nav lights on it. and a couple of rod holders....

That looks great marshwabbit, very neat!
I had something similar made up and added a perspex screen to keep spray off the electronics. Was a bit nervous about doing it but haven't looked back. Makes the boat much more comfortable when choppy and passengers have been very grateful. Not having to hunch over makes a huge difference. The screen also provides a place to stash stuff with out it rolling off the console. It does look boxy but I can live with it, function drives form in my book.
